Acting Head Nurses, the Dramatic Play

In this article I will describe one of the famous dramatic plays written by Ministry of Health. The information provided in this article includes: summary of the story, information provided about the play, date first performed and printed, the settings, number of words, most important characteristics, and famous quotes/ quotations from the play.

Summary of the story
On May 2006, a group of Kuwaiti nurses working in different hospitals and clinics visited Kuwait Nursing Association (KNA) and started telling their stories regarding their temporary posts. These nurses were asked to work as acting head nurses responsible for wards in hospitals and clinics. They have been selected verbally by their nursing superior for these temporary posts before they pass the required course set by the Department of Nursing Services in Ministry of Health. I am not going to discuss the contents of this course or its requirements because this is another dramatic play.

Information provided about the play 
Acting head nurses never published any of their play. It did not appear until 2006 when 2 nurses of the 120 acting head nurses visited the president of KNA, that was me, and the general secretary of the new elected board of directors of KNA.

The settings are different hospitals and clinics, Ministry of Health.

  1. I think your play missed the conclusion (solutions)which is the aim of any play or proper discussion.
    I personally know an acting headnurse and she's still an acting head nurse.
    But what i want to know is .. what are you trying to point out in this.
    Is it s system failure ? or people failure to achieve the required level . ? or what .
